Rothsport 3.6 Motec GT3 intake Cup exhaust in early car

This was a very fun project that went into a lightweight 2300 lb. 73 chassis.
The engine is a 3.6 longblock, Motec M84, Elgin cams...360 horsepower.
I had the opportunity to do the final test and tune at the owners ex-airfield now turned into a track.

This is where I tune cars (in addition to the local dyno shop) and occasional drag races are held. Old Soviet airfield, 3.2 km total length, open anytime. I have my garage near it and can drive my race car there:

The owner is still trying to figure out different microphones with his in-car camera to get better sound. I'll keep checking back with him.

Great #'s. Any details on the build? Stock bottom end, 996 GT3 intake with short ITB's?

Wow that thing just keeps on truckin' hard up to 7500. Nice torque curve too- not a huge fall-off after the peak. Man, I would love to have 250+ ft-lb from 4300 to 7500. Not gonna happen in a 3.0L

There are certain engine items that are seen and can be identified, but as far as the internal build specifics, the owner paid for and owns that information. If he wishes to share those specs. then it is up to him, not us.

Apologies for the thread resurrection.

On a road car, can anyone tell me what the benefit would be of a gt3 intake (is this their big bore kit?) over say Rothsports low butterfly setup, either with common resonant plenum (964 intake?) or vertical stacks?

I have a 3.2 carrera, recently converted to motec m84, coil on plug, tps/map - previously rebuilt with 98mm mahle and dc20 cams, kep PP, bored T/b

Tis a road car, so needs to remain tractable with a focus on torque rather than ultimate top end power.

I will contact rothsport directly, just seeking further opinion

Cheers
