what engine is this??

Hi guys trying to identify this engine for my friend . it has zenith carbs and has a 1974 emission sticker

A lot of engines have been modified or replaced. The easiest way is post your type number and serial number.
When looking at the rear of the engine, just to the right of the fan housing is a type number.
I tried to post a picture showing it, but site seems to be having a problem right now.
