well as i don't see any oil i would say its acceptable until the next rebuild. especially if the cause is the housing which is major work

well .. I think when my back is less sore ... take the valve covers off again and see if I still have a leak from the same rocker shaft first ... these things are elusive and I might find my repair fine and its leaking from somewhere else. If its leaking from somewhere lese like ANOTHER rocker shaft move on to that one.

I am going to order replacement rocker shafts from the host and seals again and try it one more time with a brand new rocker shaft if its leaking from the same one.

its just kinda hard on my 50+ y/o back climbing under there then trying to twist around with a flashlight and dental mirror to see whats going on.
