964 cam tower or 993 cam tower
Race engine
964 heads (worked) 964 rockers I had a pair of 993 cam towers, but the cam shafts damaged the journals on the housing. I mistakenly acquired a set of 964 cam towers. Now I'm trying to decide if I part ways with the 964 cam towers and find a set of 993 cam towers? Mike

Unless you're using hydraulic rockers why not just use the 964 ones?

The 993 towers look like they would have the opportunity to leak less as the rockers are encapsulated. Does the 993 have a better rocker oiling scenario? Mike

Rocker oiling yes-but cam lobe oiling-uhuh-you'd need to add holes in the spray bar
