Options to replace linkages on ITB
I have a twm3000 setup for my race car.
I'll keep the itbs but I want to replace the heim joints and linkage bars They are a pita to setup, seem sloppy, and don't seem to stay in tune, and are very finicky. What options are there? Off the shelf or even roll my own, but need a reference. Thx, Mike ![]() Last edited by txhokie4life; 02-10-2017 at 08:32 PM.. |

Check out Kinsler Fuel Injection. Their website is a little clunky, but they are a long time big name in fuel injection and make lots of neat fuel injection bits. Here's a link to their catalog => https://www.kinsler.com/index.php/handbook-catalog

ITB setups are tricky to setup but with patience they will perform reliably.
There shouldn't be any slop in the joints and if there is I'd replace them with Teflon lined ones-they have zero play. One problem i have seen with the TWM units is loose throttle shafts which will be near impossible to make work consistently. Barring that just have patience and in the end you'll like the result.
