Anyone dealt with Atlantic Enterprises
Has anyone dealt with Atlantic Enterprises in Pitman, New Jersey?
We are considering using them for a valve job on our 2.7 rebuild. Brian Minson Publisher 9, the Porsche DIY Magazine http://www.9magazine.com |

Ive noticed Atlantic Enterprises add in excellence, but have never used them for machine work.
I have Ted at German Precision do my machine work, and have been satisfied with the results.

I've used (Anchor) Atlantic Enterprises for years. I've sent him 3 sets of 911 heads, one 944S2 head, and I had him twin plug my 911 heads. I highly recommend him. It usually takes him a couple of days to turn them around. All he does are heads. I trust him enough that I pay him with a blank check.

Chris thanks for the tip..
I havent heard any feedback about them previously, and I am hesitant to use new on the scene or untested machinists. At some point the old faithfuls will not be around..

Thanks to all who replied back on this. I really wanted to help Atlantic Enterprises get their name out to more folks rebuilding their Porsche engines.
We plan on showing off their work in an article in the April 2003 issue of 9 Magazine. Thanks again. Brian Minson 9 Magazine http://www.9magazine.com PS: The new issue of 9 Magazine available at bookstores on February 7th is revised with a Q&A/TECH TIP column for 356, 911/912, 914, 924/944/968, 928, and Boxster/996's. I do believe you will enjoy the revised layouts and columns. Future issues will contain a Beginning Racing, and DYNO Test columns. |

I used Ollie's Machine Shop which is located in the LA area. Ollie's is recommended to by Bruce Andeson. I spent $3000 with them on having them do my heads, crank, rods and cases. Their work was execellent.

I have heard good things about Ollie's but I don't personally recommend them, only because I have never dealt with them...
