Cam tower & rebuild questions

After disassembly of engine and checking #s ...my case is 9011011023R as for a 71 2.2T but the Cam tower is 9011051111R which seems to be from a 76 .
Is this correct and is there any issue with mating these.

Also have decided to go for slightly over 2.5 rebuild using 87.5 Nickies cylinders and matching CP pistons at 9.5/1
Are there any issues with the 87.5 in the 3R case?

Weber IDA's and DC3 cams also a 70.4 crank & rods

Comments are appreciated
Thanks
Frank

No issues, cam towers are all the same grouped into 3 bearing towers and 4 bearing towers. As long as your cam towers match the number of bearings on your cam (the large, perfectly round lobes that run the circumference of the cam) your fine.

Can one lose significant oil pressure somewhere from a cam tower? You never hear folks talk about that...
