2.4 sump screen options

I have both the old original sump screen and the one for an sc.. Which should I use or does it even matter?

The one on the left is the latest update and the preffered style, it improves the scavenging like the 3.2 and later style pumps have

Thank you that is what I thought but wanted confirmation. My pump has been improved by supertec so wanted to make sure the screen is preferred.

I think if your case has the oil bypass and if you are using a 4 rib pump or later, the venturi style sump screen (on the left) is the right one to use,

Yes oil bypass has been done and here is the picture of the pump after upgrade from supertec.
