Oil bypass - quick question

Guys, my mag case just came back from the machine shop and I am doing final prepping before closing the case. What is the recommendation to hold the new brass plug inside in place? loctite blue? red?

Use red, you’re never going to remove it again.

Planning on doing the same in my 2.2 case, including installing piston squirters

What oil pump is minimum when doing this mods?

I'm going by Wayne's book and have the 4-rib pump. Mine is a '73 case so it already has the squirters - which I am currently trying to unblock (waiting for my seafoam to arrive).....engine gets all the suggested upgrades - pressure-fed tensioners, turbo covers, RSR sealing rings, updated idler arms, ARP bolts.
