Removing Cylinder Ring Gasket 82 911 SC
Hi,
Anyone have a trick to removing these? I made a few attempts using a seal puller but am concerned about buggering up the edges of the mating surfaces. Cross posting on 911 Tech Thanks if anyone has any hints. Searched but didn't find anything. Darwin ![]() |

I had no issuer myself. Could you try with a high pressure cleaner (water). Might get wet and maybe not even work but no risk of damaging

I just use the small screwdriver and distort the aluminum ring.
A set of needle nose will pull it right out Then use a pick to clean the seal recess of deposits. Bruce |

A little tiny screwdriver did the trick, they were quite gooped in as a result of the broken head studs. I used a shop rag as a cantilever to avoid the screwdriver contacting anything but the ring. So much for the "proper tool" seal remover. Thanks Bruce
