Stereo guys, VSS connection for head unit in 2008 Boxster

Folks, anyone know where to get/tap the VSS/Speed dependent Vol Control/speed pulse signal wire in a 2008 Boxster for a headunit to have the volume adjust with the speed of the vehicle?

This Pelican article covers 1997-2004. I'd like to be certain that the 2008 is the same before I go connecting things.

The sad thing (to me) is that my stereo has a GPS, but it requires the speed pulse signal from the car to do the whole speed sensitive volume control thing rather than just using the GPS. I guess they'd have too many problems with spotty GPS signals and the volume fluctuating.
