But you have some speed bozos in Italy too. I remember driving on the autostrada once, don't recall exactly where but think it was going north from Milan, whe it started to rain very hard. I slowed to appx 120kph and proceeded to get passed like I was standing still - speed delta >40kph. In the next 1/2 hour I had the guilty pleasure of repassing no less than 10 of these bozos, who had spun and slid off the road. Here in NoCal, people may drive weird in the rain, but they tend to err on the side of too slow.
