All modern fuel injection systems are based on Bosch L-Jetronic FI. Well, almost. Honda, for a number of years, used a system that was based on the same principles as D-Jetronic. (My 1990 CRX has a MAP-based system, for instance.)
Even the systems that are not officially based on L-jet are still using the ideas. They are usually changed just enough that the manufacturer won't get sued.
Even the high-tech "hot film" mass-air-flow-sensor-based systems are still derived from Bosch L-jet. L-jet evolved into Motronic when they started controlling the spark as well as the fuel, and some version of that (or a copy of that) is pretty much running everything that you can buy new nowadays.
