It's allways the cover up that escalates this sort of incident into a much bigger deal.
Stupid frat boy prank turns international incident.
What could have probably have been resolved on the spot with a bit of humility and compensation for damages done.
Turns into an incident that exposes bigger issues with the participants Character, and end up having long term consequences in folks lives.
Sad indeed.
