Interior rear view mirror fell off today.
1. I've tried Isopropyl alcohol, WD-40, Goo-Gone, paint thinner, lighter fluid. I don't have acetone or ammonia on hand. Do I really need to use either one or a razor blade to remove the remaining (I assume 27 year old) adhesive residue from the glass?
2. Should I buy a new button ($12 from our host) or should I try to remove the adhesive from the existing button?
