Fitted good pump from 89 parts car and made up a temp replacement tank to pump hose,tested it running jumper wire for pump relay and fuel flowing and returning as it should.
It appears I have no injector pulse as the engines fires on engine start,not a 100% on the spark as it appears weak,however that could have been my battery going flat.
I would guess the injectors could be gunked up judging by the condition of the bad fuel.
Plan is the following;
check coil and connections,
remove ecu,check loom plug etc,
clean all earth connections,
check for power @ injectors,
remove and clean injectors,have a spare set I can run,
repair relay board so I can run DME relay.
Thanks for the tip on the fuel hoses,all the rest have been checked/replaced when I did the engine conversion,I know I was too rough clamping of the tank hose....my fault.
