As Juanbenae said, those are not carbs, but rather a mechanical fuel injection ("MFI") system. More that that, that looks to be an MFI system modified for race/hot rod purposes. The cold start enrichment circuit has been removed off the back of the MFI pump.

In regards to your question on solenoids, are you wondering about the cylindrical one on top of the MFI pump? That is the barometric pressure solenoid to change fuel enrichment based on altitude or changing barometric pressure.
