I would think the older cars would be worth the trouble. Fairly simple, minimal electronics, good upside. The newer ones, hell no. A friend of mine has rehabbed several newer Jeeps that were freshwater flood cars, even after a full gut and clean and replacing ECUs, he still has random issues.
