Adding guages to an E46?

Has anyone added guages to their E46 M3 or 3-series? One of the mail order places has a kit that includes guages for oil pressure, oil temp (the M3 already has that in the instrument panel, so this would be a dup), and a voltmeter. These come with a frame and panel that replace the ashtray and cover. The cost is $399 for the kit with options of black VDO or white AutoMeter guages.

Has anyone installed one of these? My biggest concern is connecting the senders. The oil temp sender replaces the oil drain plug (should be easy enough to run the wires to that), the volt meter illuminations bulbs likely just needs a +12V switched source (should be easy), but the oil pressure sender replaces the original one hooked up to the idiot light (and who knows where on the engine block that's located).

Any advice or directions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

I think that the oil pressure sensor is located inside the block, but Im not 100% on that one.

If I can offer a suggestion, go with VDO. I havent had the best luck with Autometer stuff personally. Even when i was into V-8 stuff, I still used VDO.
