I flew into DC on business this morning and bought the 325xi I had been looking at, with plans to drive it down to Virginia and then back to Michigan at the end of the week.
I put 84 miles on the car before I got clipped by a tractor-trailer who decided to turn left from the right turn lane at a stop light, despite the fact that I was stopped in the left turn lane with nowhere to go. It was a very nice drive for those first 84 miles. Then there was another couple tenths from me chasing the guy down after he tried to flee the scene. Fortunately there was a police car behind me who saw what happened and put a stop to that nonsense. There was a nice light show on the dash as the traction control tried to cope with the fact that the right front wheel was pretty much going sideways at that point. Ain't that a b*tch... Cheers, Scott (we have no smiley icon for drinking alone in anger; what's up with that?)

Its good to hear the the police were able to make themselves useful.
![]() Its a shame about the accident, good thing no one was hurt and the culprit got caught. (Try combining smileys ![]() )
