Headliner Slider Repair
My headliner slider for the sunroof on my 2000 323i is just lying in the sunroof opening. Both sides connections to the slider mechanism have broken off.
Does anyone have the procedure to remove and repair the slider? I did a search and didn't find much help. Do I need to remove the glass to get to it? If so, how do I do that. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Randy

Most times you need a new headliner pc. It has 2 sets of clips, one side is removable sliders and the other unfortunantly is built into the headliner pc. You have to remove the glass to install correctly but its not that hard just a few screws

This is a VERY common problem. I'd be suprised if you cant find the repair on the web I'm pretty sure I've seen it.

Thanks for the link. I had looked there before and overlooked the sunroof DIY. That's a great writeup. I'll take mine apart and see what parts I need to order from our host.
