Help!!!!
Hello,
I live near Atlanta, Georgia, and recently took my 1990 525i to get the admissions tested. The car failed. After being informed of this, I noticed on the print that they had tested the wrong car. They tested a 3 series; I do not know what year or model it was. Anyway, I told them to retest, since they had the wrong car, and they gave me a bit of a hard time, claiming that they have the same engine. While this is true, they are different cars, with different configurations, and most importantly to an admissions test, different allowables. So they retest, the right car, so they say, and yet still fails. I looked at my test from last year, and my numbers were near identical, and well within last years allowables. Now, I know the allowables get tighter every year, but they were cut by 50% "supposedly" this year. If anyone else has a similiar car, in Georgia, please let me know what your admissions allowables were/are. Thanks BS __________________ Banditt
