DSC Module in 1999 540
what can you guys tell me about this module? what does it look like & where is it? Can it be repaired? If I pull a module from another 99 540i, do I have to get it 'coded' for my car?

I believe that the modules are coded to the individual cars...

The DSC module is located on the Hyd-pump under the hood(Rt side)
You can get one from another car BUT it must be re-coded & you have to do an end of line test>>BOTH requiring BMW diagnostics >>DIS or GT-1 |
