Interchangable Parts - 528e & 320i

Hi,

I just got a 1988 528e. I already have a 1982 320i that I will be getting rid of in the near future.

I'm wondering if any parts from the 320i are interchangable with the 528e. I'm asking because I recently (past 6 mths) did a lot of work on my 320i & I hate to have wasted all that money.

Specificaly, I am wondering about the following items:
In-tank fuel pump & sender
Secondary Fuel Pump
Rear Springs & Shocks (I doubt these interchang - but asking)
Front Springs & Strut Inserts (same as above)
Ball Joints
Front Wish Bones

The 320i is slowing falling apart & so I'm going to donate it but, If possible, I'd like to switch out some of the $2,000 worth of parts that I just bought.

Any advice would be great..............................Vern

Both the in tank and secondary pumps are different

Struts, Shock Absorbers Ball Joints, Control Arms and Springs are all different

Sorry, none of these parts are interchangeable...

Here are a couple more items that I forgot to list in my first post:

Oxygen Sensor (2 months old)
H4 Headlights (I'm pretty sure these fit any car)

the O2 Sensor is also different. Not sure what you have to do in order to make the H4's fit...

Dang!

This 528 is in near mint condition but I want to replace the springs & struts because it's starting to look a little saggy.

I might sell some of this stuff on e-bay (if I still have any of the old parts to send off with the car)
