Angry engine stalls when stopped or in reverse...HELP!!!

I own a 1991 BMW 525i and sometimes, it stalls when in reverse or at a stop when releasing brake to accelerate. I've changed the fuel filter and reset it. Also has had a recent tune up. Any ideas on what could be causing it? Thanks for any help anyone can give!

Joe, The best thing I could think is to download the info via the ODBII port. Looking towards the TPS or a switch on the tranny.
There is no RPM fluxuation(?)or high Idle so intake leaks are out.
Did it happen before the tune-up? What did you reset when changing the fuel filter?
