E34 How to remove parking brake handle?

Got the boot off but don't see any set screws holding the handle on. How does it remove? Thanks eric

I seem to recall someone saying it just yanks off like a manual shift knob. You might consider looking at aftermarket ones to see if they have installation instructions on line.

That my friend was a GREAT idea. I did that and found the answer. You were also right about it just yanking off. It is a press fit and I used a huge pair of pliers to remove it and install the new one.

Thanks very much for the idea.

The Internet has the answer. The problem is knowing the question.

Glad to help.
