Identifying the Starter Relay

Help!

How do I identify the starter relay for a '94 530i auto. I do not have the old one and did not see it (don't ask). According to the Bentley Manual, it is listed as number '1. Starter relay' in the box on the driver side near the firewall. It is the first one from left to right, top row. My BMW dealer says that their system shows a number of relays but does not name them. It shows that the relays have 4 or 5 prongs and the part numbers.

So, how many prongs does the starter relay have and what color is it? Are they color coded?

Bentley is generally accurate, I'd go with that location.

Thanks. I agree with the position. But that position (and I think all of the others) take both 4 or 5 prong relays.

Maybe someone could tell me the color of that first relay in the top row. I don't know if the 3 and 5 series have the same configuration for the relays in that box.
