Hello all,
If any of you are like me, in that you like to do things yourself, here is a link to a way you can make a cheap manometer (vacuum gauge) to use to balance your throttle bodies- it works really well. I ended up using a piece of 3mm by 25mm aluminium flat bar instead of a ruler, and 3/16 dia. hose. For the fluid I used ATF which is very visible and not to viscous. Just be aware that the text in the article is written more for carbs rather than throttle bodies, so rather than starting both sides from scratch, try to adjust the RH side throttle cable to match the LH side one. Go to the bottom of the page and click on $4 Carburetor Synchronizer. Airheads Technical Page M Motor ![]()
