BMW Roundel Service question

My bike is coming up on 6,000 miles, and will therefore need the official 6,000 mile service to be done. Problem is, I live in Hong Kong and I'm not sure that the dealer here is exactly up to snuff on what that entails. I called, and was given some story about "we can do the oil change and annual service no problem". When I tried to explain the 6,000 mile service as a required item, under the warranty, and that it consisted of a fairly extensive set of procedures, it seemed to fall on deaf ears.

Can anyone reply with the procedures that are supposed to occur at the 6,000 mile mark, and how much that should cost? It would greatly assist me in dealing with the local BMW dealer - so I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Also, anything to watch out for; be concerned about?

Finally, I'm thinking of having them do a Vanderline exhaust/chip upgrade at the same time. Might as well do it all at once, correct?

Thanks!!

I had a 6,000 mile service done two days ago. I wanted to do it myself, but never having owned an oilhead before, I wanted to watch someone adjust the valves (and Iron Horse BMW let me stand in the bay and watch, which I appreciated).

In a nutshell, they adjusted the valves and synched the throttle bodies and reading the Monotronic (I changed the oil myself before I brought it in). The rest of the mechanic's time was spent checking torque on bolts, cable play, and that sort of stuff. Took him about 1.5 hrs, give or take, including a test run.

They charged $124 for the service after excluding the flat-rate and parts for the oil change.
