What can I do with a R1200c short short block?

I acquired a very low mileage 1200 oilhead block missing one barrel and head. With the longer throws on the crank can I buy after market rods or use these & and Hi-comp pistons and one new barrel and come up with a package that will work together.......... another words is there any advantage to having a 1200 block(is the cylinder hole in the block bigger?)

Also can I find out the history of motor with engine #'s like.......

the cyclinder bore is the same as a r1150, and smaller than a r1100. I think some one here has a r1200s orsomething like that and it goes real fast. do a search.

Well dose anyone know if I can put a set of the High Compression pistons from either CC products or BBP kits on a longer stroke oilhead 1200c motor and use stock 101mm barrels would it still be 12:1 compression has anyone on the board here gone to a 1200cc long rod motor? Eron are you a 1150 or 1200cc?
