It's about time there's also a new system that is called rabbit I have a dutch link and will post it later. This systwm is basicly the same with one differance it works with all fuell injected bikes so if you buy a new bike you only have to buy a new cable but not a new computer or what ever you want to call it.results with the system are realy good i've heard and the guy who sells them is a real authority over here in the netherlands almost every body who races knows the way to his shop.

Gee, it looks like a lot of components and a lot of $. My S now runs soo sweet that I don't know if the PC would be worth it.

What advantage does the newer version have over the older? I bought a Power Commander set up for my bike from SJBMW, but have yet to install. I'm waiting to see it the chip promised for the twin-spark is soon available. I called one place close by who is a authorized Power Commander dealer/installer, and was quoted $350 for install due to tuning needed with the Dyno. Is tuning needed? I dont have a P.C. to install it myself... any input? Thanks!!

The SJ version, is one they rigged up for a Beemer. It wasn't originally made for the Beemer. The new one is specifically made by Dyno jet for the Beemer. As Acid said, Happy Day. I've been a little bummed about the lack of a PowerCommander for the R's.

$495 + S&H + appl. taxes. It'd better be worth it!

Better late than never I guess...

The closed loop portion of the map will be nice as lower RPM/throttle settings are the hardest to get just right and are very important to smooth throttle response when cornering. Their press release did not say whether it would have the quick throttle opening enrichment that the USB versions have now. Hopefully they will as that will help with the pinging issues these bikes tend to have.

Unless your bike is bone stock you should plan on having a custom PC map made on the Dyno. The map that Dynajet supplys will not cover the various mods most of you guys have done. I just had a custom map made today for the PC3USB on my Futura & picked up more power & a much smoother power band. Figure a couple hundred for a custom map. You can save quite a bit on the PC shopping around on the internet.

The SJ power commander works well. There is a gain in power, but the thottle respones is insane. My 04 BCR with system cases is quicker the a buddy's 05 BCR with the complete Laser set up with Chip, and no bags.

My BCR has a complete laser set up with the power commander.

Cool

Insane = instant, great, better then good, no lag or dead spots. Especially if you use 100 octane from time to time to clean the heads out. It will keep it crips

Don't get too excited about the "free" maps on the site. If they offer different maps for different mods pick one that's close to your bike & then put the bike on a dyno & customize the map for your bike. You could also try the map that comes in the SJ PC if someone will share but the custom map will give the best results.

I couldn't agree more. My first ride on the bike with San Jose PC was a real eye opener. I'll be ordering a full Remus system from San Jose on Tuesday and they will be sending me a new map with the exhaust system.
