OT - computer question/help?
I'm using a laptop with a touchpad. Lately the pointer springs back to where it was sitting when I let go from dragging it. It seems to go away if I reboot. Any ideas?

Some old Dells did that. There was a firmware flash update for it.

Also check for a buildup of dust/debris/old skin cells around the top case to touchpad joint. A wooden toothpick can sometimes get the stuff out without having to crack the case.
