And thus the point of having a spec series is defeated. Then again, as they say in racing, if you aren't cheating, you aren't racing.

I must admit that you guys are starting my day off with a good laugh.
And please do stop promoting the concept that is there nothing wrong with gayism, the plumbing doesnt work right, its a perverse concept in general, however on a personal level i hope your all turn gay, cuz some of you who currently are not, have hot experienced wives and girlfriends, please do send them my way, tell them in advance i love them all and will treat them all well, i promise.

'mixing fuels (BMW provided the fuel, the understanding was you were not to run anything else)'

hehehehehe
if they didn't do a fuel specific gravity test or provide spec fuel with a sealed gas cap, it's soooo easy to pull 5 HP. It's called 'tipping the can', man. Price fuels maxnitro, klotz nitro racing additive, 50-50 supplied gas and elf fuel.....'whoah...she's running rich, let's just add 16OZ of maxnitro, and that'll lean 'er right out'...and make 5 HP more easy.... it's called 'jetting by juice'. Try it some time (but only if the cat and 02 sensor are gone, as any decent additive will poison both).
all the things bobby talks about are also true. even going to the length to take the seals out of the wheel bearings to free up that last little bit of parasitic drag...an accumulation of vanishingly small gains adds up to a quantifiable improvement.

and lets not forget the 'gut factor'; for every 10lbs more the rider weighs, I belive it's like 2-3 hp. Why are jockeys tiny? why does angelle savoie need more weight added to her ride to 'make weight'. Ever seen a 6'4", 280LB roadracer? Ever seen Jimmy Felice? (yes, Rossi and Maladn are 'bigger' but thier obvious talent makes up and sometimes defeats the physics of this)

acid, man, I work with a bunch of gays; get along with 'em great, and I crack 'em up when I tell 'em, more power to ya, that means there's more women for me

I'm set to do my 48k service this Saturday. Keep your cell phones on just in case I disassemble the bike and forget how to put her back together!

When no more parts are on the floor, you're done.
.
Good luck.

Well I changed all the fluids/filters and amazingly had NO extra screws, nuts, bolts or parts left over aftewards. This is good, no?

I've moved the valve adjust day to Sunday. Maybe I'll have some leftovers then. ????
