Are you joking. Sacborg. That is a Buell site. THIS IS A BMW R1100S SITE. That is what I own.
It is yellow, with Ohlins front-rear&damper, Dymag wheels, Remus, BBp chip, ect. (I have NO chrome.) That is like taking a new Porsche to a Dodge Rambler "muscle" car club meeting. |

Spacovers, whoops sorry, I was definitely wrong, you're better off here. I thought you were joking about the steel plate.
At least ten percent of SACBORG has Buells. Paul |

Now, that is the funniest thing I have ever read on this site.
Maybe snail can volunteer for the "dragging light trip" testing? That would be cool, cause snails leave tracks

Let's keep it nice, now. No personal offense intended! The Snail is a hard-working fisherman from my home State of Oregon.
Plus, the license plate frame on his Buell says: "Don't laugh, my other bike is a Hayabusa!" ![]() [This message has been edited by motoman (edited 08-22-2001).] |

Thanks for the support motoman. I've been annoying enough for a while, I'll leave you in peace.
Enjoy your rides. Paul |

But if only 10% of the members are driving Buells, what do you drive?
I like the new buell XB9 tho. I might add one to my collection although it sounds like a golf ball I used to hit! |

I have '99 Buell S-3, race equipped, but sort of street legal. It has 15K miles on the clock, is a fun bike, but has been plagued with minor breakdowns to the point I hesitate to go out of town on it anymore.
Also have a '00 Hayabusa that I use for touring. Busa is the most fun bike I have owned to date. Ugly as sin, but dependable, strong, and well suspended with excellent brakes. Easy to ride. Other SACborg members ride, BMW, Apillia, Honda, Triumphs, Kwaks, T.L.s (name it, someones riding it.) Great website to get some comparisons and rider impressions of the different bikes. I like the golf ball line, was that a Titelist? Paul |
