need help

How do I take the oem muffler off my R12S. Just got my Laser slipon delivered today.

Take off your pillion pad or cowl and you will see two rearward facing allen bolts going into and through a rear cross member. These are your muffler mounting posts. Changing a muffler on a BMW has never been so easy.

Can't say much on the assembly of the Laser cans though, that will add the perplexity right back into the equation.

Its been a while since I took mine off, but the cans just slide rearward off those posts (after disconnecting the clamp that holds the cans to the pipe), right?

I've finished installing the Laser! Unfortunately, I forgot to tighten the bolts holding the cans to the bracket. aaarrgh!!!
I have to do it agaiin tomorrow night.

first impression: the Laser with the quiet baffle is just barely louder than the oem mufflers. The laser that I got didn't have the sport baffle(?). The tone is deeper than oem though. The cable loom for the brake light now has nowhere to screw onto.
