Here are some pictures of a hike I did a few weeks ago. A trail in Zion National Park called the Angel's Landing. Its called that for good reason, as some of you that may have done it know.
 The Park entrance.  Lower part of the trail.  Getting higher (keep climbing!)  You've been warned...  The objective. Top of the fin. 1,200 foot sheer drops on both sides.  Onward and upward. Don't let go of the chain. The ice is a little slippery!  The Top. Don't turn your back on anyone...  Peeking over the edge.  Heading back down across the fin.  Safely back down.

....I loved that hike! Funny though, when I went up there in late September, there seemed to be a lot more people around!
...and a lot more chipmunks, trying to steal your food!

Here's a few of my old prints just scanned in...
This is the local "Grassbahn" just 2 km east of our little town of Nandlstadt, Germany.  This was from a racing day at the Flughafen in Straubing, Germany.  This is from a riding/camping trip to Corsica on my GS/PD...highly recommended!  Same Trip to Corsica but on the way down in Northern Italy.  Day of the Open Door (Tag der Offennen Tur) at the BMW Plant in Dingolfing, Germany. Yes the R1100RT and 5er are painted a glossy Day-Glow Orange for the Fire Dept (Feuerwehr).  Another sporty BMW from Day of the Open Door.

Space Shuttle Atlantis (STS-117) from the VAB to the Pad. Jen's M-Roadster in the foreground. Jen is the GLS (Ground Launch Sequencer) console operator for the Space Shuttle Program.
That's right....my wife (and F650GS rider) launches the Space Shuttle! /T-31sec "GLS is go for Autosequence Start" //T-10sec "GLS is go for Main Engine Start"

Better than charbroiled rats! BTW- that was San Ramon Royal Vista. Not far from Sunol. I hit a few with a teaching pro there before that round, then par'd the first three holes. I thought I had found the holy grail, but then the wheels came off.
