Speaking of dogs, here a bud in Death Valley on a KLR, looking down at the race track. The race track where large rocks take their geologic time to move along, inch by inch. Luv my Katoom!
Bring on Spring in Northern hemisphere! Death Valley is the best!

...yes Steve, it does: watching one when one of your friends flys left wing (#2) and you are front row on the tarmac, VIP and all...
 I had a blast, Justin and I got to get out on the tarmac and took a picture of us in front of the #1 plane with the whole gang... NAF El Centro is a rather small gig, compared to San Diego or SF... and it was fun and quite entertaining... and only a 2 hour drive from here! The only thing that ticks me off is that I did not pay attention to the setting... I went to program for a few shots and forgot to set back to auto for the rapid fire shots... sucks!

No, there's still 2-3 feet of dirty snow to the sides of the road (like in pic #1), and plenty on the hills. It's been dry for a couple of weeks.
