Dinks Rally - Some Familiar Faces

Stopped in at the Dinks Rally in Pontiac for a bit this afternoon...Mr. Bill M. was there (doing his best "Standard" pose) along with some Illinois and Indiana AirHeads. It's always nice to bump into some friends at a Rally.

Don B. was there on his R69S...He said he's got his eyes peeled for a BCR one day...hopefully soon.

The would be the earliest Great "Opa" to our R1100S:

Some believe it's a map. Others think it tells the tale of the Anasazi leaving the Cedar Mesa region and moving off to Colorado and New Mexico. Someone took the time to create 160+ little people marching away... Someone who breathed, lived, and thought just like us.

Celebration Belle cruising up the Mississippi this morning (just N of I-80 crossing). Was a gambling boat, being refitted as an excursion boat. I did push the color levels to strengthen them against the morning mists.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1219158788.jpg

new puppy

hi guys and gals,

my room mate's chihuahua had a puppy early this morning at 1am. it was about a 12 hr labor. we were getting worried towards the end 'cause neither one of us knew what a contraction felt like. we were starting to think that she wasn't able to push it out. but nature prevailed and this beautiful little thing plopped out. unbelievable experience!

"peabody" is only 6lbs and the father, "henry" (yorkie) is only 4 lbs!

Nice! Seems like a rather big puppy for a 6 lb Chihuahua.

agypsy 08-19-2008 06:21 PM

yeah steve, we were thinking the same thing. neither of us expected him to be that big.

don't you have yorkie's?

Steve Carlton 08-19-2008 08:08 PM

No, Shih Tzus. My ex had one, so we got another. Then when we split up I got another and gave her one, too. Then I wound up with her second one. Now it's always "three dog night" around here. At least they don't shed...

7 old geezers out pecking around. Just in front of the big Alcoa plant east side of Bettendorf, IA. They hang out in the woods just north of the plant.
