Held Steve gloves - post accident review
I'll let this photo speak for itself... hands down, the best glove I've ever owned. I'm glad I ponied up for them!
![]() Maybe you can't see it, but those lil black 'buttons' are all scrapped up and slid across the pavement, a damn good feature in my book. |

My thumbs are too short for them. Sure did like the design and build, though. Kuddos to New Enough for letting me send them back, no questions asked.

Interesting. I have a pair that I bought maybe 10 years ago, just before I sold my last bike and hung up my helmet for 9 years. I dug them out when I bought the R11 last year; I looked at all those metal buttons and wondered if I was showing how unfashionable I was by wearing gloves with them on the palm. Apparently not. Lucky me, mine are like new (because they are). Hopefully I won't need to test their durability like you did. Thanks for the info.

Glad you were wearing a good set of hand shoes. You'll probably be real sore tomorrow.
If the insurance company is good you should be able to get a new pair, and a new bike.

Bill , The S is still waiting for some TLC, just haven't gotten around to it.
The Cagiva is the biggest surprise I've ever stepped into. Its great. The Cagiva has kinda replaced the S but I didn't use the inurance for the purchase of it.

Good looking gloves and all, but am I the only one that remembers when a pair of gloves cost less than a jacket? ![]() |

Ya know what Roger, you are right. These things cost me about $140 or $150... can't remember, but I know my Hein Gericke jacket was something like $100 (on sale though). Either way, both did their best and while my jacket is torn and now needs to be replaced, the Held gloves will, just like me, ride again!!!

Hey, that's my brand (Held) and the model I wear! Absolutely love 'em. Haven't tested 'em like you, but it's good to know they held (no pun intended ; > ) up!
