Great bike! Super paint! How's about some comments on any other mods? BTW welcome to the jungle.

As Wind in His Hair stated in Dances with Wolves, " Good Trade"

Prism Motorcycle Painting should slide you some bucks for the dot com advertisement-- unless that's you.

BMW Roundel

The bike is just about stock, when it comes to the engine. its A 99 by the way. Prisim painted the bike 2 years ago for himself. Has won a couple of awards for the paint. The guy does awasome work...hes up in Detroit.

I just put in a KnN last night and the cats have been removed. The Bags are painted black also. Not just the lids but the enitre bag. Im looking at the Remus cans for it too. Any thoughts on best bang for your buck on the exhaust...I just need the cans. Im going to have the mirrors re-painted black. The Valve covers black also. I would to put the BoxerCup sticker kit (or some sponser stickers) on the belly pan. Any one know where I could get them??...

Yes slowrider it's my old bike. I've been thinking about an RS for awhile now and when I mentioned it to Mike it seemed like a natural deal and I didn't have to drive two days to get it!

Mike ,Remember to use microfiber cloths when detailing the bike

Stunning paint job, i think you're right, it's a good move to put the mirrors back in black !
Also black valve covers give a nice total picure, i think !?
Don't put stickers on it but (let somebody) paint some letters in the same style as above !!!

Any thoughts for you're exhaust, the best bang for your buck, i say Staine Tune ...

I put a Remus two into two system (purchased from Ralf) on this board on my '02 R1100S and absolutely loved the sound, nice mellow with out being nasty loud. but you will definately need a chip to fine tune it, mine ran abit rich (fuel) with just the cans and Cat. Tone was awsume.
Unfortunately the bike is toast, in a Track day slam into the wall, I broke a few ribs and shoulder blade cracked, along with punctured lung.
I am healing slow but reading this board makes me wish I had an R1200S to replace it with. I wish you well in your riding the new bike.

Ride safe and often....... If you are interested in the Remus system (it wasn't damaged at all in the wreck) I can put you in touch with the New owner that is planning on parting the bike out.

Don't repaint the mirrors! Get some more and have them painted. If you show the bike you can put the yellow ones back on for the show. You'd prolly never be able to match the yellow again if you changed your mind. Didn't see your cat eliminator but I like Laser cans. You need a night stalker engine paint job.
