Read you own Fault Codes on Motronic 2.4

You can do it in the comfort of your own shop

Cool stuff. I'm curious if this could be used on 12S as well

PS: maybe somewhere, someone has some win app that could allow (wi-fi or else) some PC-Motronic "interaction" (even read-only)

I don't think so (12S) but this is what you are looking for I think

It says motronic 2.4 (1999 R1100S).
FINALLY!!!
Dam, I want one....just to see what codes I've thrown over time.
$250.00 is steep for a good code scanner but it's a limited audience and I'll bet the R&D took some time..as well as hacking some proprietary BMW software somehow...hehehe.

I opted for the wire mod. Far cheaper, but would like to have the GS-911 none the less.

I have the Bluetooth version. Works just as advertised. Great product.
Although I have not had to reset any codes yet (non-ABS bike) it does connect to my bike with no problems, and shows all the info. Wireless too -- sweet.

If anyone gets one and needs Bluetooth help I have the steps I used when setting mine up to work with my laptop via BT. Never tried it with my phone.
