How did you get it to populate the last vin number? I would like to know how many R1200S models have been produced/sold in the US.

Simple trial & error. The first three digits of any of BMW's serial numbers specify the model.
I know the Euro spec HP2S starts with ZS6xxxx and the US spec bikes start with ZS7xxxx.

I don't know what the R1200S VINs start with though.
