I think Bubba bought one of these at the National Rally. He sync'ed his phone with it and called me and it sounded better than some cell phones.

not to worry G. Rod thinks he can get a killer deal on a set and we'd use it for rider to rider mostly. But it would be convenient for me to use on the cell phone without needing to wrestle with my helmet.

flatbutt, if you can get a super deal, how about seeing if they'll let us jump in.

I hate to pee on your leg and tell you it's raining; but, I took mine back for a refund as soon as i got back to Atlanta. It's the boom mike and the clamp that holds it on. It simply didn't work with a Arai helmet for me. The clamp mechanism caused the Arai to hurt my left ear to the point that I had to remove the helmet every hour or scream. The boom mike which is more suited to an open faced LT helmet was a bother to me and when I wasn't using the headset, it was out in the breeze. The built in FM receiver was a PITA to tune and seemed to always search for the same radio station over and over. I had to run the volume full up at 80 mph to hear the caller or lay down on the tank. I'm looking at a Sierra BMW blue tooth system for the same price that has a full face helmet mike that's flush and doesn't get it the way. I used the system out to Paonia and back. Everyone could hear me but I couldn't hear them half the time. I'd rate it 4 on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best. I paid $170.00 for my solo set.
Does anyone have experience with this blue tooth adapter? http://www.sierrabmwonline.com/camos-btaa-bluetooth-audio-adaptor-pi-926.html Last edited by Guest24; 08-17-2009 at 04:22 PM.. |

the interphone unit is bluetooth, and it functions as a two-way intercom up to 500 feet with anybody else who has one. pretty simple
