he sent these last night. i'm not really sure exactly what we're looking at here, but it included this note: "Fractures on top of my left Humorous (not so humorous)"

 Looks like the head of the humerus as seen during arthroscopic surgery. The rounded head (ball) of the humerus fits into the socket of the scapula (shoulder blade). Looks a little beat up. He does not appear to have the type of fracture shown in the diagram. The shiney white stuff in the photos is cartilage.

seriously sergio, you know better than that.
i certainly wouldn't ever think of doing such a thing. we're saving colin's colonoscopy for the christmas card, obviously. |

Disgusting................ I've logged enough hospital time not want to see this stuff.
