i'm not really sure exactly what we're looking at here, but it included this note:

Looks like the head of the humerus as seen during arthroscopic surgery. The rounded head (ball) of the humerus fits into the socket of the scapula (shoulder blade). Looks a little beat up. He does not appear to have the type of fracture shown in the diagram. The shiney white stuff in the photos is cartilage.

i certainly wouldn't ever think of doing such a thing.

we're saving colin's colonoscopy for the christmas card, obviously.
