From the painting I recently did on my Mandarin/Silver '99S these are the paint codes from the Glasurit original paint.

Silver: 354 Titanium Silver (the same as the newer 3 series autos)

Mandarin: 414 Mandarin

The silver was much easier to find and was available at automotive paint places such as NAPA because it is also an auto paint. Mandarin is unique to the MC and therefore no automotive shop could find any mix combo for the Mandarin other than the one place that sold Glasurit paint.

The NAPA paint guy told me that the silver (354) also had two variations that were progressively darker. He indicated he could make the variations from the base color very easily if I needed it.

I'm not sure how you know if you need the variation other than eye matching. I used the standard 354 and it matched as close as my eye could tell.

Hope this helps a little.
