guess what came back into my garage

Hi all,

well i've come back toward the light somewhat. I've reaquired my old boxercup from the person i sold it to. Time to look for some carbon fiber wheels if anyone has any that they would like to get rid of. Missed you guys

Chris Canning: I just picked up a mulitstrada. Are you still involved with the ducati shop in coventry? I'll be in your area at the end of june. Want to meet up? Whats up with gus and lloyd? See you soon

Good move, Jeff.

Speaking for myself, and probably a few others, it always seemed you had more fun on that bike than any of the others.

Thumbs up

Hey Jeff,

It was good seeing Heidi and you yesterday. I will try to come up to SLO town for some R & R soon.

Your Boxer Cup looks sweet and the weather is getting warmer too.

Hi Jeff

Blimey a bolt out of the blue, carbon wheels!!! Dymag started up again minus the lunatics who ran it before and they do some very nice carbon wheels(different from the old ones) at not too silly money.

You've bought a Multi e'h,the shop and John are good,do you know his daugther married Tom Sykes, with Cal here as well good for the Moto GP/WSB gossip.

Gus is errrrr Gus,his 1100s with much hard work was broken up and sold for spares and he has a very nice R1200s in Van Harten colours,my wife reckons it will be matt black by the end of the year

Lloyd is good also,I have a rather large IOU on him having found him a mint RC45 to go with his RC30,the 1100s is at the back of the garage under an inch of dust!!!

Dates for when you are here??,never been so disorganised as this year first venture looks to be Assen at the end of June, there were plans for Austin or Laguna but I need to ride a bike so it's Europe again, with Le-Mans 24 hour and Aragon at the end of the year.

Nice Jeff, now you can paw your own bike again and keep your hands off mine everytime you see it! LOL

I know it's been sitting awhile, how's she running? That's 4 BCR's around SLO & the 5 Cities, go figure!

...did a similar thing some years ago...

...in April 1988 I bought a brand-new Mini...
...sold it in April 1993...

...felt unhappy for a couple of years, searched and found my little red Mini...

Corky,
completely electric in most functions except the throttle. its more techniquial than the hp4 but thats like compairing apples to oranges, both are amazing. it handles great and does most things well. but their are problems. first the handlebars are too wide and need to be shortened. I threw the bike into a 30mph corner and lifted the front tire off the ground,(low side). I have the nerf bars on it so the damage was about $100, and i cracked another rib,(this makes 11). next the skyhook active suspension is great but,as with the A-arm boxer, you have to put you faith in it for it to work. think of it as a shotgun approch to adjusting it. you get it close and the electronics does the rest adjusting itself at every corner.
anyway its the best twin ive riden because of the hp it has. If the BCR had anywhere near the hp of the mts it would be the best bike ever!

Chris,
looks like I'll be in your area somewhere between the 25th of june and the 1st of july. give me where you will be in Europe and see if we can hook up for a day. I'll be heading out of ibeza spain for my sons wedding and trying to figure out things before we leave dublin on the 2nd of july. thinking of spending a day or two in amsterdam,(Ron?). please send the midland mafia my best. btw does john have some bits and pieces that might make the mts a higher giggle factor
seeyou soon

Davie me boyo,
lets hook up and ride some. i have to reset the bike from the last owner but at least you will be able to see whats available for your bike, it is such a virgin you know. hehehehe

Ron,
i know i guess i'm getting sentimental as you say. Ive done this before with cars.
as you can see above if you are around lets hook up. see you soon

tony,
hope you are still riding miss ya my friend. yea i've come to the conclusion the inline 4's just don't do it for me. I like the pull of a twin out of the corner. they are so much more fun.

moki,
i was suprised to see you this weekend, hawaii won't be the same without you lol

Stevie C.
'Dude',(reference the Big Lebowski)

The Dude: Yeah, well. The Dude abides.
The Stranger: The Dude abides. I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there.

Crag,
where we are, but Moab.... man its dryyyyy
hope things are well in your neck of the world my friend.

orphan:
you are comfusing me with Steve C., He doesn't care. me, I'm a leaf on the wind, watch me fly. lamfaorotf
I don't look at it as a mistake more a maturing of what should be,( oh god, get your boots on).

John,
you hansome devil now that you have things in place we can ride. Maybe get scott H. out as well.

Bill,
Me to, LOL.
hope all is well in the other Kansas

Sergio,
man am i glad your married. someone to keep you in line and away from axes. Computer guys don't use axes at night on other peoples trees!!!!!
lets set up a small ride soon up in the centeral coast.

Shreddr,
the hp2s is like an italian bike, its something you want to put into your living room and look it. Yes, i would like one but i'll wait until the next S is made. Look for a water cooled on in a few year I think. are you still having fun and causing trouble i hope

cya
