It's hard to tell from the video feeds where everybody is sitting or standing at any of the U.S. rounds. All the American rounds look to have sparse attendance, but I read that Mugello only had 65,000 as well. That seems shocking, if true. It sure looks more crowded than the U.S. rounds on the tele. In the European rounds, it appears everybody sits in seats. At Laguna, lots sit in seats, but I'm sure most sit on the hills and under the trees. Certainly one of the best things about Laguna is the ability to walk almost the entire track and be able to sit outside or inside every corner and straight.
Well Mugello is an interesting one because it's in the middle of nowhere they actually price the entrance fee to keep numbers down,I/we have been twice last year and 07,in 07 it took over 6 hours to get out and that was on a bike!!!,we actually rode cross country through fields with all the other bikers and they been determined to keep numbers down from that hence such high prices.

As for sitting it's a cross section,in Germany at the Sachsenring they do Mugello and Jerez is split probably 50/50,without doubt the worse European track is Misano facilities are zilch and they get away with it because it's half a mile from the beach, but they need to pull the plug on it and go to Monza.

Silverstone is a strange one there's plenty of seating but they want to charge, but there's also plenty of sitting room so folks sit on the grass instead hence why you can get a big crowd and there's no one in the grandstands.

Certainly if I had to put my money on a track having the plug pulled I go for Valenica, and certainly they need to change Misano, last time we went to a WSB round they wanted $150 to watch practice on Saturday only, god knows how much a GP ticket is,gladly our days of having to pay are long gone but most still have to.

Same here... I wouldn't go if I'd have to pay for all the stuff I get... not worth it.

I am curious though, how WSBK is going to be...

I am not talking about the future of WSBK, Chris... I am just talking about this specific event... never been at a WSBK Race.
