Any plug-n-play non load dependent flasher units out there?

NO PLUG-N-PLAY RELAY NEEDED TO FIX FLASHER UNIT PROBLEMS. SEE AN UPDATED THREAD HERE.

Anyone found a non load dependent replacement flasher unit that will plug into the original flasher unit socket?

I haven't opened up the flasher unit to look at the pin-out. Would it look something like this?

This one will handle LEDs without the fast flash.
However , it will not self cancel ... you'll have to remember to cancel the turn signal yourself.

If I understand things correctly, cutting the trace re-programs the flasher unit. It is originally programmed to blink fast if a light goes out. After the cut it blinks 1x/second regardless of load.

I'm going to collect all the information I found into a thread on this topic because there is a lot of information and it is on different sites and threads.

Thanks again.

You're quite welcome! It took me a few days to even find that one. Although, I have yet to find a flasher relay for the 12S...I want to believe the flasher is integrated into the big module. Luckily the LED drivers I have for my blinkers draw just enough current avoid the fast flasher action. (Well - I had one driver that still caused the issue, two out of three didn't).
