Same with me, and looking at pictures later, I don't just see the image, but am transported to the moment even years later.

I look at a picture of my MC trip out west in 1976, and still get a flood of mental images and memories about the entire trip, not just that picture moment frozen in time.

I know exactly what you mean Richard.

Yeah, that was AWESOME!
What a surprise it was to see the two of you roll up...
That year (2013), TOR had a very nice presence of Pelicanos...

Ricky, wasn't that the "put on a shirt" year?

I don't remember Ralf, you would have to ask Bill.

Richard and Mr. FB pulled off that surprise visit. That was a good year and a great pic. BSing under the tarp in the dark and rain.

My only regret of the trip was just a few moments prior to that pic. As we rolled up a many were congregated by the road. Of course Dee standing front and center. As he stood there trying to figure out who was arriving, I accelerated straight toward him and stopped a couple feet from him. It took him a few seconds to realize who we were, and THAT was the first and last time, I saw Dee speechless!!!

My regret was I didn't have the GoPro running to record that rare moment in history. But as I said it is etched in my grey matter forever.

Who knows maybe we will make a return trip someday.

So, I just got home from working security for a HOG rally, of all things... had a great time thanks to some really pretty and flirty Harley ridin' ladies... but now I wanna ride the S to either Paonia, or maybe the national, next year.

probably should start a thread, huh?

Yeah, regardless of all the bashing, HOG rally women are much more fun than BMW women. They know how to drink! BMW people sometimes try too hard...

That picture, wish we were all standing there now... Passing around perhaps some Captain Morgan rotgut...

It's a shame that Brad Z never made it to one.

Was that outside Tucson? I was down there last week and heard they were coming.
