Unknown component On My Z3
Hi,
Im looking for technical advice . BMW z3 1.9 2001 Y806 GAH Looking foreword towards the radiator, there is an cowling (air ? ) that sits right across the top of the radiator. On the right side of this there is a component that is attached to the underside of this cowling, right next to the washer tank This component had been pushed down from the cowling accidentally, exposing a concertina tube with a coiled spring inside. Cannot see it properly from picture as its underneath. Would anyone know what this component is ? grateful for any advice. colin  m photo
